Special Fun Dives

Island Diving Center Roatan is a Full valet experience Dive Center.

(If preferred – please let us know if you do not want us to touch your equipment).

Our instructors set up all your gear in the morning and break it all down, rinse, clean, and hang it afterwards.

Each diver just need to take his/her fins, mask, snorkel, dive computer and cameras. Tanks, BCDs, weights, and Regs will be carried by our team.

You will be assigned a locker in the shop for your gear the entire time you will dive with us.

Unlike a lot of other shops in Roatan, you don’t have to cross a busy street or wade in chest high water to get to the boat. You go straight from your room to the dive shop and to your boat.

We have 50+ individual dive gear lockers.

GROUPS MAX SIZE:

Our groups have a maximum ratio 1:6 (1 instructor per 6 divers max).

If we are using a big boat we might have 12+ fun divers on the boat, but underwater we will have independent groups with 6 divers max per sub-group.

EXPERIENCE LEVELS:

We do not mix experienced divers with novice divers!

PRIVATE BOATS & DIVEMASTER:

If you prefer to have a private boat and/or a private divemaster it costs:

$150 per diver for 2 dives for min: 4 divers ($600 for 4 divers).

We have 4 boats (all with an overhead roof):

• Ariel, 45ft long, 12ft wide, 280HP, for up to 24 divers

• Queen, 33ft long, 9ft wide, 200HP, for up to 12 divers

• Princess, 26ft long, 7ft wide, 75HP, for up to 6 divers

• M/Y "Tres Hermanas", 45ft long, 15ft wide, 2 x 315HP, for up to 8 divers, exclusive for private charters on the Bay Islands most iconic dive sites.

Our Dive Boats are located in our private dock 10-20 yards away from our dive shop without any roads or water in between.

Island Diving Center owns 40+ full sets of modern and properly maintained SCUBAPRO dive gear.

Full Gear Rentals, $5 per dive, per diver, included:

• Regulator Mk2 R095

• BCD Glide1000 with Integrated weight pockets

• 3mm Shorty or Long suit

• Fins full-foot or open-heel

• Mask + snorkel

Wrist dive computer: $10 per day

BCD or Regulator only: $5 per dive, per diver

White light flashlight: $10 per day

Blue light flashlight: $15 per day

60 or 100cf tanks available: $10 per tank, per dive, per diver

2. Send us a $100 deposit via PayPal using the link.

DIVE SHOP CHECK-IN:

Visit us the day before your first dive for dive shop check-in, paperwork, and setting your dive gear and weights.

Our Dive Shop opening schedule is from Monday to Sunday from 8am to 4pm.

No show will be charged 100% of the dive trip rate if 24 hours notice is not given.

If you are unwell please let us know as soon as possible that you are not diving, before 3:30 pm at Island Diving Center reception (not on the Hotel reception!).

Please keep in mind that we do offer a full valet service and your gear with be loaded on the boat.
