Regular Guided Boat Dives

Island Diving Center Roatan is a Full valet experience Dive Center.

(If preferred – please let us know if you do not want us to touch your equipment).

Our instructors set up all your gear in the morning and break it all down, rinse, clean, and hang it afterwards.

Each diver just need to take his/her fins, mask, snorkel, dive computer and cameras. Tanks, BCDs, weights, and Regs will be carried by our team.

You will be assigned a locker in the shop for your gear the entire time you will dive with us.

Unlike a lot of other shops in Roatan, you don’t have to cross a busy street or wade in chest high water to get to the boat. You go straight from your room to the dive shop and to your boat.

We have 50+ individual dive gear lockers where you can leave your gear safely overnight.

GROUPS MAX SIZE:

Our groups have a maximum ratio 1:6 (1 instructor per 6 divers max).

If we are using a big boat we might have 12+ fun divers on the boat, but underwater we will have independent groups with 6 divers max per sub-group.

PRIVATE BOATS & DIVEMASTER:

Having a private divemaster to dive exclusively with you can enhance your diving experience significantly. You'll have the undivided attention of the divemaster, who can tailor the dive to your preferences, show you hidden spots, and provide personalized guidance.

We have 2boats (all with an overhead roof):

• Caribbean Queen, 33ft long, 9ft wide, 300HP, for up to 12 divers

• Caribbean Princess, 26ft long, 7ft wide, 75HP, for up to 6 divers

Each boat complies with the USCG standards, each boat carries a DAN Emergency Oxygen Kit, a First Aid Kit, life jackets, VHF radio, emergency flares, primary and backup anchors and ropes.

Our Dive Boats are located in our private dock 10-20 yards away from our dive shop without any roads or water in between.

Island Diving Center owns 20+ full brand-new sets of modern MARES dive gear.

Full Gear Rentals is extra $10 per dive, and is included:

• Regulator

• BCD Scubapro with Integrated weight pockets

• 3mm Shorty or Long suit

• Fins full-foot or open-heel

• Mask + snorkel

Wrist dive computer: $10 per day

White light flashlight: $5 per day

Blue light flashlight: $15 per day

100cf tanks are available: $5 per dive

For booking you have 2 options:

Option-A: Please send us a $100 deposit via PayPal or credit card, using the following link: Pay $100 Deposit + Balance payment on your last dive day.

Option-B: Online Store (Full payment)

DIVE SHOP CHECK-IN:

Please visit us the day before your first dive, for dive shop check-in, paperwork, and setting your dive gear and weights.

DIVE STORE OPENING HOURS:

From Monday to Sunday from 7:30 AM to 4 PM.

No show will be charged 100% of the dive trip rate if 24 hours notice is not given.

If you are unwell please let us know as soon as possible that you are not diving, before 3 pm at Island Diving Center reception (not on the Hotel reception!).

Please note: we offer a full valet service and your gear will be loaded and set on the boat, every morning, before 8am.
